  • The production of the Melody 212 tubes is the culmination of Mr Allen Wang ‘s many years of his attempts in his lifetime to reproduce the sound of the Western Electric 212 tubes that has been ‘lost’ many decades ago when it was first use in the Military facilities & TV/Radio broadcasting stations . Western Electric 212 tube were at that time was the pinnacle of producing the largest vacuum tube both in size & also the best audio sound as regarded by many collectors & audiophiles around the world when it is properly bias at an appropriate voltage.

  • Mr Allen Wang being an exotic vacuum tube & music lover, he & his team has spent a considerable amount of time to try to replicate the ultimate sound using the Western Electric 212 tube. As such, the first task is to source around the world for any such Western Electric 212 tube. But due to its extreme rarity in limited number of such tube, instead he has decided to seek & source them in leading vacuum tubes manufactures around the world to see who can custom made a replica of the Western Electric 212 valves for Melody only. Eventually after many years in attempts of getting the right constructions & technologies in engineering the replicating the Western Electric 212 for Melody request, the “Melody 212” tube was born ! It is a very near or close to the replica of the Western Electric 212’s with many proprietary technologies that were specifically engineered for Melody in getting that closest sound of a true Western Electric 212’s Mr. Allen has been seeking. There is no replicas in the world that Melody has a tube that is as close to the Western Electric 212’s tube in both construction & sound & let alone any other replicas of the 212 tubes on the market today.1 Note: The Melody 212 tube construction is a high voltage vacuum tube so care must be taken when handling to avoid electric shocks or accidents. That is why our proprietary Everest 212 has incorporated the state-of-the art strong aluminum caging systems to properly house & protect the Melody tubes when in operation.
